Cult Vehicles #1: Tumbler
Many fictional vehicles, designed for movies, have inspired AFOLs around the world. One of the most interesting and demanding ones is Tumbler from the Batman Begins movie.
The vehicle, designed over a year’s period at the cost of several million dollars, and requiring professional drivers with additional 6-months driving practice, has become a legend not only among the Batman-lovers.
The pics below show an exquisite model of Tumbler built by MikeLoh - it has full suspension, V8 piston engine and a stunning resemblance to the original vehicle.
Mike not only painted entire model by hand, but also designed professionally-looking box that could be used for official set. Perhaps his creation will finally inspire TLC designers to include Tumbler in the Lego Batman series.
For those who haven’t seen the movie, here’s the short Tumbler clip:

Hey Klocki, Nice to see my creation reviewed here. I only painted the flat parts in black cuz I couldn’t find any kit with black parts. I’ve used all ferarri F1 racer parts which were red and the rest were black.
