Make Piotrek’s dream come true
Yesterday, I was contacted by Mam Marzenie foundation representative searching for support.
Mam Marzenie is an organization granting wishes to Polish children living with life threatening conditions. Inspired by the story of Chris Grecius - the Arizona boy who’s wish to become a state trooper started the wish granting movement in the US - this foundation wants to bring in the life of the sick children and their families a ray of hope and joy in the tragic times of the ilness of a child.
In Wrocław, there is a sick boy, Piotrek who’s wish is to get the complete LEGO City set collection. Since yesterday, we started to raise some money among Polish AFOLs. If you want to join us, please do so:
- Make a donation to Mam Marzenie foundation (add “Wroclaw, for Piotr” to the transfer title when available). It you live outside Poland, you can pay via VISA card, international money transfer. Foundation has also account in US.
- Send a mail to Asia, foundations volonteer at: joanna.supergan@gmail.com and state your name and amount - that would let the foundation to collect the money faster from a shared account.
