Oldsmobile Regency Ninety Eight by Misterzumbi
Misterzumbi is busy. Misterzumbi does not have time for bricks. Or cars. I know this is a bit egoistic, but I hope it’s his job what keeps him busy…
A few rare moments of free time he had during the last three months, Misterzumbi invested in this cool model of Oldsmobile:
I think I will be better if I just let Misterzumbi speak (translation of his LUGPol post):
“If you say say this car has twisted proportions, you are probably right - this car is from cult German cartoon “Werner”. There are two versions of it, and the model is more or less a mixture of both. First version is obviously the one designed for the movie and there a lot of it in brick-built model - the color, the details. Front skull is missing, but I did not figured out how to build it, and finally I decided that whatever I built it would look crappy.
But Roetger Feldmann who is a “father” of Werner, thought it would be cool to have such beauty in real life, in his garage. Together with his brother Andi obtained an Oldsmobile and made this already long monster a half a meter longer - both sides. The real one is dirty-brown plus rust, lacks the skull but instead has a wooden back platform which I build ’cause I liked it…”
And here’s how this car looks in the movie:
