Bikers’ Crematorium

LUGPol’s Klocki-Zdroj exhibition is now partially disassembled, but there is one thing good about it - V1 photographed (at last) his newest masterpiece. Despite the controversial title that has bad connotations in Poland, this is a blast.

Krematorium

Biker’s clubhouse called “Krematorium” is of course a way to showcase all V1’s motorbikes, but the building alone is equally good. The amount of little details and funny scenes is amazing! Even having seen it in person, I still find some new things on those pictures!

Confirmed: Power Miners line coming soon

Few days ago Toys News Online published press release from LEGO UK, announcing new lines for January 2009, among them farm, and others that recently leaked. But the big news is a new Power Miners line that seems to be the remake of Rock Riders:

Press release

Launching in January, Power Miners will have year-round marketing support including a full PR campaign focused on the childrens’ press, online marketing, Lego Club campaign and in-store promotions.
Power Miners features a team of miners that dig into the Earth’s crust and encounter half-rock/half-crystal monsters. The range features collectible vehicles and mini-figures and monsters.

I was reluctant to publish these news, but since I have confirmed it directly with LEGO, here it is. But still, the whole thing amazes me.

What happened here? We see a press release that appears in single source only. News like these are never exclusive, so why there, why now? Was there a leak again or someone pushed the “send” button few months earlier than planned?  Anyway - another opportunity to have a big splash was blown by LEGO. Bummer.
