Build your own 8259
Just a few days ago, we have published the first publicly announced 2009 Technic sets, one of them being a cute, tiny 8259 dozer. The set has instantly won the hearts of all the world’s builders, triggering a flood of reverse-engineered replicas. You can view one of the most accurate ones clicking on the photo below:
AVCAmpos from the TechnicBRICKS staff went even a step further: he created an accurate MLCad model of the set, along with the precise building instructions:
We are curious as to how the 8259 sales will be affected by the fans getting ahead of the company’s plans. Personally, we see no reason to abstain from buying the set just because we can build it ourselves - the dozer is way too cute, it almost begs to be put on a special place in our workshops as a 2009 Technic mascot

Nice to see AVC model here, despite he still have a detail to fine tune.
I also don’t think this should affect the dozer sales. Hopefully the hype generated will even make them to increase. As Paul wrote, the model is really cute!
One way or another, after any model release we can build them ourselves from the instructions, unless there are new parts in it.
