Escape From Planet Monday

Do you listen to the music while building? Sebastiaan Arts (Aliencat) does, and here is what he built with the little help of DJ Fresh. Creation is named after the this album (I’ll stick to jazz though…).

Escape From Planet Monday

I particularly like the tan-grey corner building:

Bavarian Birch-tree

Sir Nadroj’s newest creation, Bavarian Autumn features a gold couch built  using some magic techniques. But what I really like here is the birch-tree:

BTT09

We got the results of the 1st challenge of BTT. Thanks for so many wonderful entries and congratulations to the winners.

We are looking forward to see your entries for  Challenge 2!

And the winner is…

Dirty dump truck, Bobofrutx

Chicago Gang Skirmish

Nice diorama by Sir Regonold (Daniel Shehadeh). The style looks like something in-between Sir Nadroj and Kris Kelvin:

I wish the author posed the minifigs differently. We can see only one face out of five…

A Train Travels From Station A to Station B….

I saw two great train station buildings recently, both by LUGPol members. First one is a lovely diorama by kl_eon:

Second one is by… you know it already, don’t you? This style and colors give away the author. Kris Kelvin:

Galaxy Express 999 - Maetel

I never heard of the Galaxy Express 999, but I might watch it after seeing how Neodymium-boy sculpted Maetel, one of the series protagonist:

Here’s how she looks like in the movie:

Sariel’s the Man!

Check this out: Sariel, our fellow editor writes now for LEGO at the Design Blog.

Sariel blogs for LEGO

Congratulations Sariel!

I still remember the time where you were an angry Klocki reader complaining about me posting too little about LEGO Technic ;-) Great progress! Now I can complain about Castle missing on your blogs!

Pop-up Golden Pavillon

Some time ago I featured nice replica of the Golden Pavillon by Jumpei Mitsui, but honestly, I did not see this coming.

Talapz was builing this pop-up model for two months. He also composed the music that plays in the background. Amazing work.

Thanks Szymon & Grom for the heads-up!
