Rocko presents a new diorama: Easter Island crew is defending itself from the attack of sea monkeys. Beautifully nonsensical.
Aaron Andrews (DARKspawn) presents a small diorama where three pirates meet the fish monster.
It is the monster that makes the scene great. I particularly like the teeth coming up from the water, huge eyes and clever use of green parts.
NELUG’s Dan Kressin built an amazing model of a Donkey Kong game. Creation uses RCX brick, a light sensor and Castle troll throwing the barrels at the poor Mario. Check this out:

The end of summer vacations and going back to school is a hard time for everyone (going back to work is quite similar…). Matt shows us why we really should be afraid to come back: hungry school bus.
Guess what you get, when you add: too much bricks, too little responsibility and a brown fedora? Total craziness:

Christophe Bongay (cblolego) presents a great cartoonish scene with a sinking battleship:
The name and flag may suggest this is inspired by the story of Japanese Yamato battleship sank on it’s last suicidal mission.
It’s hard to decide what I love most about this creation. The color of the water is great, I feel cold just by looking at it. The ship is ingenious. Jumper plates look exactly like rivets, the twisted proportions are just sweet and the hole in the hull is a cherry on top of the cake. Minifigs are nicely selected and the trick with the swimming silhouette, even if repeated looks still fresh.
