Open Letter to LEGO S@H by Polish AFOLs

Dear LEGO

We would like to warmly thank you for opening the Polish edition of Shop@Home. We have waited for this moment eagerly for the long time. We appreciate the amount of work done on extending the system to our country and the effort needed to overcome all the legal and logistical problems.

At the same time, we would like to express our grief and sadness associated with the pricing policy for Poland chosen by Lego. We did not expected that the prices for Poland will be lower than the prices in other European countries, but the fact that they are much - sometimes twice - higher could not escape our attention. We understand of course that high shipment prices are caused by logistic costs. However, it is difficult to understand that the prices of products manufactured in the same factory, can differ twice, depending which side of the border the products are sold on.

This means that, currently, most of us will not be able to use Shop@Home, and will keep purchasing the products from resellers or import them from abroad. That is simply much cheaper.

We are your solid and faithful customers as well as living ads of your products. We really care for the success of S@H in Poland. Therefore, we ask you to re-consider the pricing policy in the Polish S@H. We hope that the results of a survey conducted among Polish customers will help to understand our request.
